How we got this

The formula, and where each price came from

CloudRepo

The cheapest plan whose storage holds yours, on annual billing, plus transfer past the plan's allowance at the published overage ($120/TB, reach-out-first, rounded down). The same plan billed monthly is shown beside it. Users are not priced. Above the Business plan there is no figure: talk to us.

JFrog Pro

$150 a month at list, plus storage and downloads past the included consumption: 25GB included. $1.25/GB (26-1,024GB), $1.00/GB (1,025-2,024GB), $0.75/GB (2,025+GB). Twelve months, compared with CloudRepo billed monthly, since JFrog lists Pro by the month.

Self-hosted Nexus

One server at the hourly rate in the form (default EC2 t3.large, $0.0832 an hour) for 8,760 hours, a public IPv4 address at $0.005 an hour, your storage on EBS gp3 at $0.08 a GB a month, your downloads at $0.09 a GB out to the internet, admin time at the hours and rate in the form, and the licence: Community Edition is free, Pro self-hosted starts at $7,500 a year. Compared with CloudRepo billed annually, since a self-hosted licence is an annual contract. It leaves out setup, backups, high availability and on-call time, so it is the low end.
